New 2009b season Rules
Event rules:
1. All drivers are required to drive in each event with a wheel of some kind. There are no joysticks, gamepads, or keyboard drivers allowed.
2. All drivers are required to be on Team speak3 with working mic and sound for every event.
3. Under cautions, all drivers are required to stagger. This means the leader stays high, 2nd takes the low side and so forth through the field until told to line up to take the green.
4. While under caution,
Team speak will be used in this order before any other discussions are allowed:
a.) Once the caution has come out, the admin will ask what happened.
b.) Only the drivers involved should explain what happened
c.) The admin in charge will make the call, and then open the channel for discussion by stating "team speak is now open".
**Please keep in mind that drivers are trying to listen to their spotters for on track placement, if a driver can not hear their spotter, they are allowed to request to keep TS quiet. Be considerate to your fellow drivers.Conversations on TS need to be kept to a minimum at all times.
5. We have a lucky dog in the Truck and COTseries only. This means we do not race back to the flag. Lucky dog drivers will be required to pass the pace car and end up at the end of the longest line. An admin will clear the black flag. Road course tracks will be handled differently.
6. During starts and restarts. Jumping the starts will not be tolerated, to prevent this, there will be no passing allowed until exiting turn two. Follow the driver in front of you until it is safe to pass out of turn two. you are allowed to pass the cars below you or above you as long as you stay in line. Follow the car in front of you until out of turn two.
7. Lapped cars will be starting on the inside lane during restarts. You are required to hold your line. Once it is clear, you are required to run the high line at most tracks unless requested by the leaders to stay low. Do not hold up faster cars, it creates frustration, and unwanted tempers. Be courteous, and let them by.
8. All drivers will get to qualify in the Trucks and COT series, not the outlaws. Top three in points in the Outlaws will random start in the back.
9. All drivers are responsible for being to the race on time. All race times are posted. Qualifying will begin on time. It is the drivers responsibility to be ready to race when the scheduled event is ready to go.
10. Negative attitudes are not wanted here and will not be tolerated. This is a fixed setup league, and all drivers are dealing with the same thing. If you do not like the track or the setup, then no one is forcing you to race here. Negative attitudes will get you removed from the game and voice server.
11. FOUL LANGUAGE DIRECTED TOWARDS ANOTHER MEMBER WILL GET YOU REMOVED FROM THE GAME, AND VOICE SERVER, AND MAY EVEN GET YOU BANNED FROM THE LEAGUE, NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE. THIS INCLUDES ADMINS. ADMINS ARE SUPPOSED TO SET THE EXAPMLE, AND IF YOU CAN NOT, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE AN ADMIN HERE.
12. All drivers MUST be registered in the DYNO RaceLM program. Drivers who have not been approved through Racelm WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE RACE SERVER.
13. ALL DRIVERS MUST CONNECT TO THE RACE USING THE RACELM ARENA. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY WAY TO JOIN THE RACE.
14. Cautions - in all series, cautions work on the honor system. If you cause a caution, fess up to it. Penalty for causing the caution is to speed in the pits and get an eoll penalty.
a: Outlaw series - three spin rule is in effect - third spin, we will ask you to park it.
b: Truck series - three spin rule, same as outlaws
C: COT series - we have a ticket system in place. (This rule is currently on a trial basis to lower aggressive driving and lessen cautions)(This rule is subject to change)
1.) Each caution you cause will be tracked by the admin. For each caution, you will get one ticket.
2.) Three tickets will have you sitting out of the following race. No provisional points are allowed.
3.) You can clear tickets from your account by completing a caution free race. One race takes away one ticket, Three clean races in a row will remove all your tickets.
** All rules are subject to change, and can only be changed by management and the admin team **
